Yearbook photos are scheduled for Monday, August 18. Photos will be taken during the students’ PE period. Students are required to wear their blazer and tie for photos.
We have switched photography companies, so prepay envelopes will not be sent home this year. Proofs will be sent home a couple weeks after picture day, and parents can order the photos through Lifetouch if desired. A post will be made when the proofs are sent home.

The final tryouts for flag football will be held on August 19th & 20th from 3 – 4:30. This is open to students who are currently in 7th-9th grade. Students must have their Dragonfly account completed to tryout.

July 18-20 is Alabama's Tax Free Weekend! This is a great time to purchase basic supplies needed for the year, as well as purchase some extras to replenish throughout the school year.
Parents, we will not be providing supplies at Meet the Teacher like we have been able to do in the past several years. Supply lists for each grade level are included.
Teachers may request other items in their syllabus at the beginning of the year.
We suggest keeping a small supply of school items at home to assist with any projects and/or homework assignments.

Meet the Teacher will be August 5 from 1-3 P.M.
Parents who have completed on-campus registration may come, collect their child’s schedule, receive a clear book bag, and visit classrooms.
Parents who did NOT register their student during an on-campus registration will not be allowed to visit classrooms; their student will not have a schedule.
Note: The last on-campus registration is July 31 from 10 A.M.- 12:00 P.M.

Late registration will be July 31 from 10 am-12 pm. This is the final on-campus registration opportunity for parents.
Parents will need to bring their child’s final report card, $40 cash, COPIES of their proofs of residency, SS card, and picture ID.
**Having copies of all your documents will help speed the process up and reduce your wait time. Parents also need to verify you have completed the online registration part BEFORE coming to campus.

Don't forget about the summer reading lists and math packets for each grade level. Students will need to purchase their own summer reading books; books that can be accessed online have been noted. Each grade level has two books to read. Students will have assignments based on the books; this information will be given to students once school has started.

Football season is just around the corner and Coach Davis will begin on July 16th & 17th from 5:30 – 7:15pm. Camp Clark will be held June 25, 2025 from 8:00-1:00 P.M. There is a $20 cost that includes a snack, lunch, and t-shirt. The t-shirt sizes are first come, first served.
Registration forms can only be picked up at the new parent meetings that were held in May. This is a pre-registered event only; your child may not attend without the form.

Guardians of the Nest is a transition experience for all 9th grade students. It will be held June 23, 2025 from 8:00-2:00 P.M. The cost is $20 and includes a snack, lunch, and t-shirt. Registration forms were handed to current Clark-Shaw's 8th grade students and mailed to others.
