🌟 Science Fair Update for 6th, 7th, & 8th Grade Families! 🌟

We wanted to share an important update about our upcoming science fair. Because of a delay in shipment, our display boards, header boards, and label kits haven’t arrived yet. They are on the way, and we expect them next week.

To make sure every student has what they need and no one feels rushed, we are adjusting the due dates for the display board and logbook. These items will now be due the week we return from winter break.

📅 New Due Dates:

8th Grade: Wednesday, January 7, 2026

7th Grade: Thursday, January 8, 2026

6th Grade: Friday, January 9, 2026

If your child ordered a display board, header board, or label set through the school, those items will be handed out before we leave for winter break.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s science teacher—we’re here to help and support your student’s success!

Congratulations to Ms. McDonald, our November Teacher of the Month! She is a 6th grade ELA teacher who also assists with Robotics, Club180, after-school tutoring, and more. Ms. McDonald is often the first teacher on campus each day and one of the last to leave.

Ms. McDonald is a proud alumna of Clark-Shaw. When she began college, she started as a computer science major with no plans to teach. Through her classes and interactions with others, she constantly reflected on what had the greatest impact on her. She realized it was her years as a student at Clark-Shaw and her teachers. She felt the calling to become a teacher and changed her major to education.

Ms. McDonald, we are very grateful that you returned to your “home” in our Eagles’ Nest. You continue to impact students by investing your time and energy into them. We are thankful for all you do for our students and school!
