Tomorrow and Thursday we will have attendance celebrations in front of the school. To ensure student safety, we have to block off lanes one and two. There will be other times throughout the year where both lanes will be blocked. Please refer to this diagram to ensure you are not blocking someone.
We can never block access to Reams Drive or the rear (northside) of the school. There is a white stop bar painted on the road as a designated stopping point when traffic has reached the end of Lane 2 or both lanes are blocked. Blocking the entrance or exit of Reams Drive may result in a ticket or being towed.
For year-round usage:
Lane 1 has been and will continue to be closed all year for traffic. If you come to school to pickup a student or meet with anyone at the school, please park in lane 1.
Lane 2 is for pull through traffic during the morning and afternoon. DO NOT park in lane 2.
Lane 3 is for pull through traffic during the morning and afternoon. DO NOT park in lane 3
Lane 4 is for pull through traffic during the morning and afternoon. DO NOT park in lane 4
You may park next to the cafeteria, beside the gym, or next to the fenceline to the South of Lane 4.

Mrs. Howell teaches 6th grade advanced social studies that challenges students to think critically by applying content knowledge and literacy strategies to learn history through discovery and exploration of primary and secondary sources. Mrs. Howell has high expectations for her students and provides a supportive learning environment to prepare them for high school and beyond. We love hearing from her former students who return to thank her for the foundation she helped them build to be successful in their high school AP classes and on the ACT.
In addition to being an incredible social studies teacher, Mrs. Howell is a leader on our campus. She is the Social Studies Department Chair, Title I Facilitator, 6th grade lead teacher, Yearbook sponsor, History Club/NHD sponsor, and member of the Leadership Team. Mrs. Howell, according to Taylor Swift your energy is expensive, and we are grateful each day that you choose to share your talents with our faculty and students. We hope you enjoy your surprise movie ticket to enjoy the world premiere tomorrow afternoon!
