Why Socks?
Socks are one of the most needed yet least donated items in care facilities. As the colder months approach, a warm pair of socks can make a meaningful difference in a senior’s daily comfort and health. Through this project, our HOSA members aim to show compassion and leadership while giving back to the community.
Campaign Details:
Dates: October 30 – November 6
How It Works:
Students are encouraged to bring new socks — fun, colorful, or character socks are welcome — and turn them in to their homeroom teacher.
Incentive:
The homeroom with the most socks collected will win a Cupcake Party hosted by HOSA!

The following are requirements for any athletic trying out for a team-

Let’s keep the momentum going and make a difference together!

Tuesday- Mismatched socks and wacky hair- uniform bottoms and shoes required
Wednesday- Neon shirts and sunglasses- uniform bottoms and shoes are required
Thursday- Dress for your future career- must be school appropriate
Friday- Final Pink Out Friday! $3 donation for pink shirt and accessories, jeans, and tennis shoes

Tomorrow and Thursday we will have attendance celebrations in front of the school. To ensure student safety, we have to block off lanes one and two. There will be other times throughout the year where both lanes will be blocked. Please refer to this diagram to ensure you are not blocking someone.
We can never block access to Reams Drive or the rear (northside) of the school. There is a white stop bar painted on the road as a designated stopping point when traffic has reached the end of Lane 2 or both lanes are blocked. Blocking the entrance or exit of Reams Drive may result in a ticket or being towed.
For year-round usage:
Lane 1 has been and will continue to be closed all year for traffic. If you come to school to pickup a student or meet with anyone at the school, please park in lane 1.
Lane 2 is for pull through traffic during the morning and afternoon. DO NOT park in lane 2.
Lane 3 is for pull through traffic during the morning and afternoon. DO NOT park in lane 3
Lane 4 is for pull through traffic during the morning and afternoon. DO NOT park in lane 4
You may park next to the cafeteria, beside the gym, or next to the fenceline to the South of Lane 4.

Clark-Shaw students and families, come out and show your support at the Breast Cancer Walk this Saturday at 8:30 A.M. Registration starts at 6:30 A.M at Spanish Plaza, 401 Government Street.
We’re proud to share that Clark-Shaw has already raised over $1,500 during our first two Pink Out Fridays—thank you for your incredible support!
