Our first Pink Out "Friday" will happen Thursday, October 8. For a donation of $3, students may wear pink shirts, accessories, and tennis shoes. School uniform bottoms are required.
Nurse Walker is also selling pink shoe laces for $5.
All money Clark-Shaw raises will be donated to the Mitchell Cancer Center here in Mobile.

Clark-Shaw Baseball Tryouts will be held Monday, November 2, Wednesday, November 4, and Thursday, November 5.
Participants should report to the picnic tables by the locker room on November 2 when the bus riders start loading. Tryouts will held from 3:00- 4:30 each day. Parents please pick up your player in front of of the gym at 4:30.
All 7th and 8th Grade Boys trying out must have a completed Dragon Fly Account with a current physical uploaded to their account.
6th grade boys trying out for manager must see Coach Mattern before tryouts start to signup.
Tryout fee is $10 for all participants.

🚧 Due to the rally, there will be road closures in the area. Parents will need to access the school from Moffett Road and/or Overlook.
Please pay close attention to road closures and plan accordingly. Allow extra travel time for both drop-off and pickup.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Clark-Shaw is coming together to raise awareness and support the Mitchell Cancer Center!

👟 Pink shoelaces—$5! Beginning Friday, October 2, Nurse Walker will sell pink shoelaces. Students may wear them in their school shoes throughout October, and proceeds will support our breast cancer donation.

Students may pay $3 each day to participate and support our Mitchell Cancer Center fundraiser. Students will be allowed to wear pink shirts and tennis shoes; uniform bottoms are required.
🌟 We’ve raised $4,000 toward our $10,000 goal! Help us reach our goal and earn Clark-Shaw a place on the Mitchell Cancer Center’s wall of donors.

🏈 Football Schedule Update🏈
Mobile County has canceled ALL middle school football games for Thursday, October 1.
Our game against Lott has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 8. Tickets purchased for today’s game will be honored at the makeup game.
🎉 Our Homecoming Dance is still on for Friday, October 2! We look forward to celebrating with our Eagles!
🌊 Seventh Grade Field Trip Spotlight! 🐚
Our Clark-Shaw seventh graders have an exciting opportunity to explore Alabama’s Gulf Coast with Gulf Coast Explorers! Hands-on science and history activities will bring learning to life while students make memories with classmates!
🧳 Trip includes:
Two nights of bunk-room accommodations
Seven meals: two breakfasts, three lunches, and two dinners, plus snacks
Coach transportation to and from Gulf Shores
A group T-shirt
All field trip activities
💵 Payment schedule — $520 total:
October 1, 2026: $130 non-refundable deposit
October 30: $130 payment
November 20: $130 payment
December 18: $130 final payment
